It promises to be a great night out in 2018.

The Club run the 2017 event at the Brackenbury Sports Centre, Felixstowe.

It was so successful, we raised a total of £13,604.74 on the night, which will be used to support local charities and families.

On Friday 26th May The Felixstowe Rotary Club hosted a record breaking charity boxing dinner at the Brackenbury Sports Centre in Felixstowe. 

The event was organised in conjunction with England Boxing and starred 10 action packed bouts attended by 283 diners and featured an auction of sporting memorabilia amongst which was a signed Anthony Joshua glove and a Harry Kane shirt. 

Felixstowe Rotary Club sponsor the National England Boxing youth title belts and 15 belts are currently held across England at various weight categories for both male and female youth boxers .

One ex holder is Harris Akbar, the current youth commonwealth games silver medalist who is tipped to compete at a future Olympic games. Other holders include Charles Frankham who is current European youth champion and world bronze medalist who defended his title in Liverpool. 

A total of £13,604.74 was raised on the evening and will be used to support local charities and families. The event was so successful plans are already in place for the 5th annual Boxing dinner in 2018 , for details of how you can get involved please contact:-
